JZKit 3

JZKit 3 is a pure java toolset for building advanced search and retrieve applications. Developed from the original JZKit product it provides a poweful modular framework into which component based search providers can be installed.

The framework is designed to be truly independent of search protocol and access mechanism. Toolkit components include a range of search 'plug-ins' covering a wide range of search protocols including Z39.50 (of course!), SRW and local relational databases. The default configuration provides a wide range of powerful cross search facilities along with an API which allows users to develop their own search plug-ins.

The toolkit addesses all aspects of bulding modern cross searching applications.
