Parent Know How Portal

Working as sub-contractors to Tribal Technology Ltd, we are developing and implementing a solution for the Department of Children, Schools & Families (DCSF) which will form part of the Parent Know How Directory.

The portal allows local authorities to submit XML documents relating to child care provision into a central aggregating repository. Data submission is vai a RESTful web service. The aggregator functionality includes de-duplication and data enhancement features including the addition of geospatial metadata to records. The repository implements standards-based APIs to enable search and retrieval of information from the repository via third party sites dich as DrectGov.
