Spare Rib is released on Jisc's Journal Archives

All 239 editions of the landmark feminist magazine Spare Rib have been released online by the British Library through Jisc's Journal Archives (JJA) platform, for free. K-Int were the lead partner in the project to develop the JJA platform with UI experts Gooii and consultants Sero.

Users can now search the content and view high resolution scanned images of all Spare Rib pages ever published, totalling over 11,000. 

The British Library is also hosting a website featuring 300 specially selected pages, along with 24 recently comissioned articles about the history of the magazine.
