K-Int’s Samuel Scandrett joins the Arches Development team

Knowledge Integration is proud to share that Samuel, our lead Arches developer, has been nominated to become a member of the official core Arches development team, gaining the “Committer status”.

Since joining in August 2022, Samuel has contributed over 30 commits to the core Arches codebase, as well as creating over 15 issues and over 20 PRs.  Some of these include bug fixes and features such as adding a copy node UUID to clipboard button to the graph tree, fixing the map layer manager inputs, adding the control save keyboard shortcut for saving resources and graph changes, and most recently a large PR that fixed lots of datatype issues primarily relating to the URL datatype.

The 18 person team, at the time of this post, comprises members from Farallon Geographics, Historic England, Scholium Tech, QED Systems and now Knowledge Integration.

We look forward to continuing our contribution to core Arches development and our presence within the community.
