On the hottest day of the year we all tootled off to throw a few axes and discover our inner vikings. Much fun was had and the experience delivered by the Battle Axe Sheffield team was top-notch.
After a few practise rounds we’d all pretty much got into the swing of it with most axes hitting the targets.
Reuben “Osborne the Chopper” was runner-up and received a special award for being the most fear inducing axe launcher. Jag “Ivar the Unhinged” was crowned champion and we all carried him off, with all toes intact, to celebrate with a few mugs of mead.
