Royal Armouries Image Library launched

The new Royal Armouries Image Library is powered by data from their CIIM platform via a private custom endpoint and authenticated REST API.

The Royal Armouries (keeper of the UK’s national collection of arms and armour) were already CIIM users for their collections online. Their implementation was extended to facilitate automatic publication to their new image library, using a private custom Elasticsearch endpoint and a private authenticated API. This enables the newly created image library (utilising the Capture Website 3 platform) to have live access to images and image metadata from their original source, without the need for staff involvement.

This module is now available to other CIIM users.
